Mandatory Statutory Statement
For Australian Customers: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
For New Zealand Customers: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. These guarantees apply to all goods supplied in trade to a consumer, ensuring products are of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description.
How to Make a Claim
If you believe a product is defective, please follow the procedure below:
- Point of Purchase: All warranty claims must be initiated through the original point of purchase, being the authorised distributor or wholesaler from whom the product was bought.
- Assessment: The retailer will work with ECCO Safety Group Australia to assess the claim. You will need to provide proof of purchase and a description of the fault.
- Expenses: Generally, the cost of returning the product to the point of purchase is the responsibility of the claimant. However, if the product is found to have a warrantable defect, you may be entitled to recover reasonable postage or delivery costs.
